Welcome to "Book Talk," a new book club where each event is dedicated to a different literary genre! Our first gathering will focus on the world of mystery, giving you the chance to discuss your favorite thrillers, whodunits, and suspense-filled stories.

Picnic & Garden Tour
Join us for a morning at the Modesto Children’s Garden. This will include health education, healthy snacks and a fun activity for all. As well as a hands-only CPR demonstration for those who are interested.
We are excited to have our friends from “the garden” at MJC join us as well! We look forward to having you and we’re excited to see you there!

Community Yoga
This beginner friendly class combines both Yin and Yang movements that leave you feeling well balanced and calm. We start with a mix of fiery movements that heat up the mind, body, and soul. Then slow it back down with cooling intuitive movements that connect you with your divine energy, ending class with shavasana.
Please complete a 2024 Liability Waiver & Media Release form prior to attending class. (Note: You only need to complete this form once per year, so if you have already completed a form for the current year of 2024, you do not need to complete another one.)

Native Planting Workshop with Hector
Learn about the importance of Native plants in our community garden with Master Gardener, Hector!
This free workshop will include informational handouts and a native wildflower seed giveaway.
Movie Night On The Field
We will be hosting a movie night at The Performance Lab on Friday, September 29th at 6pm. The price will be $5 per ticket. Popcorn will be included in ticket pricing.
Summer Wellness: Drum Love Circle 🪘
Drum Love will lead a drum circle for a fun and uplifting experience that brings people together through the joy of music-making. No experience needed. Drums and Percussion provided.
